We are in Lisbon for a couple of days, so we toured the National Palace and Gardens of Queluz this morning. The Palace was built in 1747 for the king and his family, as a summer residence. It is quite grand, with hand painted ceilings, inlaid floors, and beautifully landscaped gardens. We took the train into Lisbon for lunch at a restaurant we've been to before. We walked about the
Praca do Comercio. We always enjoy Lisbon!
