We arrived at Bussaco Palace early yesterday afternoon, for a two night stay. Bussaco Palace was built as a hunting lodge for the last king of Portugal, in the late 1800's. The exterior and interior structural decoration is over the top ornate. We spent a couple of hours hiking in the Bussaco Forest,
planted by monks in the 1600's. There is so much history in Bussaco!
