We are two weeks from our annual Ranch Branding. Papa and I have been working on various ranch chores for much of the week. Papa built a bench, or rather he put a wood top on a feed trough, to be used as a bench. Under the tree will be a prime viewing spot for those not doing the branding.
I cleaned the Rock House and Bunk House and replenished paper towels, shampoo, etc. We tidied up around the corral, burning dead limbs and moved some ranch supplies. We had help, with Oscar, Pablo, and Doc nearby most of the time!
We cleared a wider path for the cows to get into the corral. Papa used Fergie to move dirt for a new drinker inside the corral.
