Papa joined Colter and several others, at 5:30 this morning, to trailer to Patterson, the most western pasture on the ranch. Their purpose was to drive the bulls across part of the ranch, so they will be ready to meet up with the cows after Branding. The bulls move more slowly than cows, and they didn't get to the house for lunch until close to 1:00. Carly's parents, Karlys and Corky, arrived just minutes before the cowboys, bringing cold drinks. Today's lunch was sloppy joes, with chips and pickles, deviled eggs, fresh fruit, and chocolate chess pie. Everyone was enjoying the beautiful day!
