After a long 18+ hours of flying, we arrived in Paris yesterday. We took the Metro to Gare Saint Lazare, then walked to the Tuileries Gardens. It was a beautiful day and Paris never disappoints!
Soon after noon, we returned to Gare Saint Lazare and took the train to Rouen, where we rented a car and drove to check out the chateau we are renting for a week. We then went to La Mazurelle B and B for the next two days. After a quick freshen up, we drove to nearby Doudeville to stock up on patisseries, then drove 8 km to Valery-en-Caux, to the beach. We passed fields of
yellow flowers along the way. Patches of tulips and daffodils are in bloom everywhere.
The Alabaster Coast is stunningly beautiful!
