I painted Madilyn, Colter Lee, and Traven's names on galvanized buckets from Home Depot. Then I filled the buckets with things I hope they will like, such as thick bath towels, hats and mittens, books, candy santas, and ornaments for their tree. Actually the bucket idea came about after they got new carpet a couple of months ago. The first time I stopped by after the carpet was installed, Colter Lee informed me to "take off your shoes!" before I had even closed the door. Personalized buckets seem a good way to keep up with all those things that land near the door, like hats, mittens, shoes...
