As much as I love my life and living on the ranch, sometimes I have to catch up on my "to buy" list. I left the ranch yesterday around noon, drove to Tucson (about 2 hours away) and
shopped until 7 p.m. I raced from store to store and have more to do today.
One of my stops was at my favorite fabric store, Home Fabrics. They had an Arts and Crafts Day from 12-4, and I arrived about 10 minutes late. The store manager, Becky, had made beautiful bags that were still out, so I took a look and ended up chatting with her husband, Adam. Becky and Adam are from the northeast. He graduated from Columbia and is a photographer. He and I chatted for over an hour, from photos to politics.
