I picked up Madilyn, Colter Lee, and Traven by 7 a.m. yesterday, and we drove to Tucson, to the zoo. We arrived by 9 and had fun checking out the elephants, rhinoceros, zebra, and more peacocks than we could count. Giraffes ate carrot sticks from each of the kids' hands, with their long black tongues curling around each carrot. We saw turtles, tapirs, birds, elephants, lions, tigers, and bears! The kids got wet in the splash park. We rode the train. We had a good day!
