Papa often quips, "it will burn you, bite you, stick you, or sting you," when talking about the desert, it's flora and fauna. Papa's cliche appropriately describes these agave, prickly pear, and yucca that grow in my agave garden. I love their patterns of growth and their sharp points. They also attract wasps.
