Big clouds hung over the Winchester Mountains this week. They reminded me of the Great Smoky Mountains. From very early childhood to my 50's, I've spent time in the Smokies, visiting Aunt Rhea and Uncle Wayne at their North Carolina home on Jones Creek, making wonderful memories. The Winchester Mountain version of smoky mountains isn't quite the same, but still beautiful.
