The Lion King

Day 2 of our New York City trip was a big one!  We walked through Central Park and rode the carousel.  Then on to the MET, where we wandered through Egyptian tombs and suits of armor to the rooftop deck for one of the best views of Manhattan.  We walked across the Park to the Museum of Natural History where the lines were long, so we sat under dinosaurs in the lobby to cool off before going to Shake Shack for lunch.  We got cookies at Levain Bakery.  We shopped most of the afternoon, in the Upper West Side and back down to Times Square, before getting ready for dinner and THE SHOW.  We had cheese fondue for dinner then went to the Minskoff Theatre for The Lion King.  We loved the costumes, the music, all of it!
