Papa and I went to the 96th Annual Sonoita Rodeo this afternoon. Madilyn competed in the 6-9 year old Pee Wee Barrel Race and Carly competed in the Professional Women's Barrel Race. We watched the full gambit of rodeo events from kids mutton races to pro bull riding, bronc riding, roping, and barrel races. It was a nice afternoon in Sonoita and the spectator viewing area was covered and comfortable with terrific views of the Santa Rita Mountains. We had a good afternoon!
