As the world was expecting a super moon last night, Papa and I went out in the tower and waited for it to come up over the mountain. The moon was beautiful and it did seem especially big and bright, as we were told it would appear 14% bigger and 30% brighter than other full moons this year. I looked at photos from around the world last night, and my favorite photo was of the moon coming up behind the Christ statue in Rio de Janeiro. Fun to think about the whole world under the same moon!
