Puicheric to Montreal

We had breakfast with Dominica and Philippe at Chateau de Puicheric this morning.
After breakfast, they took us on a tour of the castle rooms that have not yet been renovated.  They were "oh so interesting!"  The castle was renovated and added onto over several centuries, so there were elements we particularly enjoyed seeing, such as the painted ceilings, wallpaper, and various types of flooring materials.  We enjoyed our conversations with Dominica and Philippe.
We enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Puicheric!
We drove through the Minervois countryside this morning, making stops to see ancient dolmen near Siran, and ancient churches at St-Germain and Centeilles.  Most of the Languedoc seems to be planted in grapes.  Vineyards are always part of the view.
By mid afternoon, we arrived in Montreal and Domaine Caraman.  We were quite happy to see William and Marion again, after our visit three years ago.  They have made more renovations to their property and we are staying in a beautiful new two story apartment connected
to their quarters and the B and B.  Domaine Caraman has one of the best views in all of France.
It looks south to the Pyrenees over rolling hills of vineyards and other crops.
