Miles of Rolling Hills Covered with Wildflowers

After a wonderful breakfast at Pousada Convento Sao Francisco in Beja, we drove to the castle town of Serpa, with its own Roman aquaduct.  From Serpa south to the Algarve, the hills were covered with wildflowers.  This is one of the most beautiful spring times we've ever seen.

Once on the Algarve, we stopped for a snack in Tavira and wandered around a bit.
Then we drove on to Pousada Palacio de Estoi and relaxed the rest of the afternoon.
I spent some time in the indoor pool and we caught up with email and news.  Ahhh!
