Stone Arch, Caves, and Nueva Dam

On our way down Javelina Peak on Friday, we hiked over the top of the saddle and then crossed over to the next ridge.  Just over the saddle, sits a large rock arch.  We then hiked down the next ridge to check out several shallow caves we've explored before.  On one previous visit, we found pottery shards in those caves.  The whole ridge is steep and very rocky.

We then hiked up to Nueva Dam, built in the 1950's on the site of an enormous rock outcropping.  The dam is rounded and built into a very narrow cut of the rocks.
