Bella and Jeremy invited Papa and me to a fox hunt this morning, on a farm near Sherborne. We were leaving Manor Farm this morning, so we followed Jeremy part way and left our car to ride with him, to save a bit of time later. We arrived at the farm, along with 50-60 hunters, all dressed for the hunt and riding beautiful horses. Bella and Jeremy introduced us all around and we thoroughly enjoyed short conversations with several people, including one who had been to Bisbee, Arizona!
After glasses of port were offered all around, the hounds were let out and the hunt master led them into the fields, to sniff fox. We sloshed through the fields after the hunters, a beautiful site on a lightly foggy morning. Just an amazing morning at an English fox hunt!
