A heavy fog enveloped everywhere we went today. We still enjoyed the whole day, from early morning at Manor Farm until we returned late in the day. We explored Milton Abbey, Corfe Castle, Studland Beach, the giant chalk man at Cerne Abbas, saw pheasants at Minterne House and Gardens, and the church where the first Sir Winston Churchill was buried in the 1600's. Upon returning to Manor Farm, we enjoyed tea and conversation with Bella and Jeremy, learning that Bella is a Lady, as her father was an Earl, and her brother is currently an Earl. Such an interesting system of nobility still very much alive in the UK in 2015. We are learning so much and enjoying making new friends!
