I hiked up the hill north of our house yesterday with acres of yellow flowers on each side of the road. The fence is a distinct dividing line created by having most of our cattle herd in the pasture east of the fence for two months. They must have loved those yellow flower plants!
I was treated to a visit from our resident roadrunner after my hike.
He ran back and forth on the porch for several minutes.
