On Sunday afternoon, I made a batch of Ina Garten's recipe for French Chocolate Bark
for neighbor Christmas gifts. So easy and so good!
8 oz. good semisweet chocolate chips or bar
8 oz. good bittersweet chocolate chips or bar
1 cup whole roasted, salted cashews
1 cup chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries
1/4 cup golden raisins
1. Melt the 2 chocolates in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water.
2. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and draw a 9 by 10-inch rectangle on the paper.
3. Pour the melted chocolate over the paper and spread to form a rectangle, using the outline. Sprinkle the cashews, apricots, cranberries, and raisins over the chocolate. Set aside for 2 hours until firm. Cut the bark in 1" by 3" pieces. Store in a cool place and serve at room temperature.
