Our flight from Tucson was on time. We met Emily in Dallas and arrived at LaGuardia a bit early. We took a taxi into Midtown and were checked into our hotel by 4:30 this afternoon. We were all starved, so we headed to La Pain Quotidien, just a block away, for sandwiches, salad, and pastries. Fortified, we set off for FAO Schwarz and then down Fifth Avenue. Emily made purchases at
H and M, Aeropostale, Forever 21, and ToysRUs. We had gelato in Grand Central Station and
spent a few minutes in St. Patrick's Cathedral. We walked through Rockefeller Center.
We rode the subway from Grand Central to Times Square and shopped more.
We arrived back at our hotel by 11 p.m. A long day and a good day!
